AARON PECK

Aaron is the owner of Elevation Sled Dogs, with 30 years of mushing Aaron has seen a lot of God’s country from behind the runners. Aaron has competed in the Iditarod 10x, and the Yukon Quest 450 2x.

Liam is an experienced guide who has spent years leading in various fields. Recently, he has ventured into the world of mushing, bringing his expertise and passion to working with sled dogs.

Craig is an experienced international Adventure Guide previously instructing and leading tours in Scuba Diving, Backcountry Canoe Tripping and Waterskiing. He has now embraced the world of Mushing and in his fourth year of guiding Dog Sledding Tours he also takes on the role of Managing the Elevation Sled Dogs Kennel.
 

Jenn

This is Jen’s third winter running dogs, but her first at the helm of her own team of 11 Alaskan Huskies. After two unforgettable seasons mushing in Yellowknife, NWT, She has made the move to Whitehorse, Yukon—and she couldn’t be more thrilled.

Flo

After years of farm work and horse guiding in New Zealand and Australia, Flo—always a hard worker and a true dog lover—is taking on a new challenge: running sled dogs and braving the Yukon winter. So far, she’s thriving!

Greg

Greg brings a calm confidence to the runners and genuinely loves helping others experience the magic of a dog team. With 7 years working alongside sled dogs — including guiding seasons in Yellowknife — he knows how to keep things smooth and full of good energy on the trail.

Thomas

Thomas comes from a small French-Canadian community and has plenty of experience with dogs and mountain biking. He’s enthusiastic, always has a smile on his face, and truly enjoys working with the dogs. He’s excited to be in Whitehorse for his first winter up here, and the more questions you have for him, the happier he is!

Where You Can Find us

You will pass by the Yukon Wildlife Preserve on the right hand side, take you next left turn onto the Takhini River Road, just before the Eclipse Hot Springs and the Takhini Resort. 

The Elevation Sled Dog Centre is located just 1km down the Takhini River Road on the right hand side – Look for the signs!
