We are now located at Stony Creek in the Ibex Valley,  an easy 45-minute drive on the scenic Alaskan Highway west of Whitehorse.

Premier Full Day Dog sledding adventure (campfire lunch included)

There is no better way to spend a day in the Yukon than to ride the runners behind a strong team of Alaskan Huskies. Why settle for just a short time on the runners when you could mush the team out to a cozy campsite on a lake shore far away from the business of the world.  Your full day of mushing will be split into two runs, first we head towards a our lakeside heated wall tent where you can warm up and relax by the wood stove.  Your guide will serve you a delicious campfire lunch and  warm drink.  As dusk sets in the huskies will howl, this is their way of telling you its time to head for home! This is their favorite time to run!

Pick up time for this tour is 9:00am, tour start time is 10:00am.  Tour ends 4:00-4:30pm

Must be 11 and older for this tour, $425/per person, Shuttle $60/person

Into the Wild – The Ultimate Half-Day Dog Sledding Adventure! 🐾

Gear up and step into the thrilling world of Yukon dog mushing! Your adventure begins with an insider’s look into the life of a musher, followed by an introduction to your eager team of huskies—ready to hit the trails.

Feel the rush of the ride as you glide through the breathtaking Yukon wilderness, carving through snow-covered landscapes. At the halfway point, we’ll take a break to re-group and take pictures and switch rider positions.

When the huskies sense it’s time, they’ll let us know—it’s a race for home! With their energy at full speed, you’ll experience the exhilaration of mushing like a true adventurer.

At the conclusion of your tour you can warm up in our cozy wall tent by the wood stove and enjoy a cup of hot coco and tell stories of the trail with your fellow travelers.

Learn to Mush – Self-Drive Experience

This isn’t just a ride—it’s a hands-on “Learn to Mush” experience! With your personal guide by your side, you’ll learn how to command your team and control your sled, making this an authentic and unforgettable journey through the wild.

Tours begin at either 10:30am or 1:30pm. If using our shuttle service, you will be picked up 60min before your tour begins (9:30am or 12:30pm).

Step into the wild and embark on the most epic dog sledding experience imaginable! Elevation is proud to offer this once-in-a-lifetime adventure in the heart of the Yukon, led by Aaron Peck—10-time Iditarod competitor and veteran of the world’s toughest sled dog races.

Venture deep into the breathtaking Tombstone Territorial Park, where jagged peaks and sweeping valleys create the perfect setting for an unforgettable mushing expedition. In late March and early April 2026, this remote wilderness transforms into a dreamland of pristine snow, long daylight hours, and awe-inspiring scenery.

This isn’t just a tour—it’s a true wilderness experience. You’ll live the musher’s life, caring for your own team of elite sled dogs, setting up camp in heated tents, and navigating the rugged Yukon backcountry under the guidance of our expert team.

Your Journey Into the Wild

Day 1: Arrival in Dawson City
Your adventure begins as we pick you up from the airport and travel 1.5 hours to our remote base camp. Meet your guides, settle in, and get acquainted with your team of huskies—the heart and soul of this expedition.

Day 2: Learn to Mush
Today, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of dog sledding! Learn how to care for your dogs, manage your sled, and prepare for the journey ahead. With hands-on training, you’ll gain the confidence needed for the upcoming expedition.

Day 3: Into the Wilderness
The real adventure begins! We set out on an epic 6-hour mush deep into the Tombstone backcountry. As you glide across untouched snow, the silence of the wilderness is broken only by the rhythm of your dogs and the crunch of your sled runners. At our remote campsite, you’ll help care for the dogs, set up camp, and soak in the surreal beauty of the wild.

Day 4: The Journey Home
After breaking camp and feeding your eager team, we hit the trail once more, making our way back toward base camp. As the final stretch of your adventure unfolds, you’ll reflect on the incredible bond you’ve built with your team and the wild Yukon itself. That evening, we celebrate with a hearty farewell dinner and toast to your achievement!

Day 5: Departure
With memories (and maybe a few happy tears), we’ll transport you back to Dawson City for your departure. But the spirit of the trail—and the call of the wild—will stay with you forever.

CANCELATION and cold weather POLICY

Customers will receive a full refund with at least 30 days notice of cancellation, a 50% refund with 29-15 days notice, a 25% refund with 14-7 days notice, and NO refund 6 days or less before your tour start time. Submit an email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation.
Cold Weather Policy
Our cold weather cutoff is -32C. At -32C or colder on the day of your tour,  you are eligible for a 75% refund.  However, if you are still keen to experience dog sledding regardless of temperature, our guides and dogs are able to safely run your tour down to -40C.  Elevation Sled Dogs will attempt to contact you the day before your tour to consult you about this decision.
