Elevation Sled Dogs

Elevation Sled Dogs Yukon, is one of Canada’s top long distance sled dog teams. Aaron Peck and his team compete annually in the famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race across Alaska. You are invited to share in the magic of riding the runners with these amazing canine athletes.

Where You Can Find us

Take the Alaska Highway (Hwy 1) north/west out of Whitehorse toward Haines Junction, you will pass the Yukon Wildlife Preserve on the right hand side, take your next left turn onto the Takhini River Road, just before the Eclipse Hot Springs and the Takhini Resort.

The Elevation Sled Dog Centre is located just 1km down the Takhini River Road on the right hand side – Look for the signs!

From Whitehorse, take the Alaska Highway (Hwy 1) north/west.

Turn north onto the North Klondike Highway (Hwy 2) toward Dawson City.

Turn left onto Takhini Hot Springs Road and continue toward the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs.

Just after passing the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, turn left onto Takhini River Road. Watch for the Elevation Sled Dog Centre signs.

Continue approximately 1.5 km along Takhini River Road.

229 Takhini River Road will be on your right-hand side. Turn into the property, follow the driveway all the way to the end, and park near the large wall tent.

Look for the Elevation Sled Dog Centre signs along the way!
